“Pantoum for a Veteran of the Great War” is poem (a pantoum) crafted from quotes First World War British servicemen taken interviews housed in Imperial Museum archives and used 2018 documentary film, “They Shall Not Grow Old,” directed produced by Peter Jackson. The pantoum also draws on content November 11, National Public Radio broadcast hundredth anniversary Armistice 1918, which featured recording Fenton Caldwell, 1 U.S pilot, describing what meant to him. “I Never Talked About it After villanelle about author’s uncle, Korean veteran whose POW status valor as U.S. Army sergeant U.N. Special Forces during war were unknown until after he died.
